Description:
1919 hardcover edition by S.J. Duncan-Clark, a World War Analyst, Correspondent and Editor. This black cloth book has rubbed gilt title on the front board and spine (see Pic). The boards are rubbed but strong. The hinges are good, the pages and endpapers are age toned, but clean and unmarked (with the exception of the previous owner's name stamp on the title page). The color fortis picture is of Gen. Pershing, and has been repaired. This book is believed to be a first edition because the copyright date and printing date are the same. A-2
