Atlantic Beach, Florida:: Linda Broadfoot,, 2005.. Edition of 50. A combination of handset letterpress and computer generated work. Letterpress was used to print the text using metal type on a flat bed press on a Vandercook Universal III using Hahnemuhle Biblio and Copperplate papers at the Letterpress & Foundry of Michael and Winifred Bixler. Then digitally reproduced small Giclée prints of the artist's original 20 x 24" Polaroid image transfers were printed archivally on Crane's Museo paper using an Epson 4000 printer. A modern day Cabinet of Wonders. Broadfoot uses A. S. Byatt's "Things Are Not What They Seem" to accompany her images as "a numinous guide to viewing" these wonders of nature. Tenants of building (as per signs) include: Union Bank of Australia, Alex Brown Colliery, Belgian & US Consulate, New Lambton Colliery Indemnity Fire and Machinery Insurance, Hewison Shipping Insurance & General Commission Agent. According to Newcastle Library records these businesses were located in a bank building in Newcastle, but pictorial records depict a different building. It would seem highly coincidental if these same businesses were located at the same time in nearby East Maitland or Morpeth, but remains a possibility. No other pictorial records can be located..

Pleasant Hill, MO: Little & Sprague No Date, circa 1869, what is now called the Hannibal Bridge saw construction begin in 1867 and finish in 1869. Titled "Kansas City Railroad and Carriage Bridge" under photo, "Little & Sprague, Pleasant Hill, MO" right margin, in fine print under left side of photo "Total Length 1,395 Feet" and :"PACAN & WINANS (illegible)" under right side of photo. Verso appears to have a map in faint pencil of the area of the bridge. Very Good, dark spot to margin left edge. . Cartes-de-Visite . Very Good. 2 1/2" x 4".

Historic archive of photographs in the maritime history of Glasgow – the development of the Clyde Navigation, Harbour and Docks recorded in eight original platinum prints by the famous Glasgow photographers Annan & Sons between 1892 and 1898 and preserved in their original portfolio case.
Glasgow was the second city of the Empire and by the end of the 19th century had become a major Atlantic seaport and the Clyde shipyards were building the most sophisticated and technologically innovative iron and steel ships in the world.
