Los Angeles Circa 1959 / 1960, 1960. Original Photograph . Single Photograph. Fine. Original Photograph 9 1/2" X 7 1/2" Of Jfk At A Restaurant Or Night Club With Frank Longo [ Founder Of Longo Toyota, Which Became The Largest Auto Dealership In The World], Circa 1959/1960. This Is A Much Thinner Kennedy Than We Are Used To Seeing. Kennedy And Longo Are At A Small Cocktail Or Dinner Table, Perhaps At A Banquet Or Night Club. Inscribed, Signed And Dated 6-1-1962 As By Jfk & Gjc (?), But This Is Not Kennedy's Usual Signature, And An Authoritative Source Confirms That Kennedy Was Never This Thin After He Was President, So The Photograph Itself Probably Dates From His California Campaign Circa 1959 / 1960. The Kennedy Archives Have No Record Of The Photograph Being Sent In For A Signature Around That Date. It Was Probably Signed By "Gjc" For The President. The Photo Is From Personal Collection Of A Longo Family Member.

Very Large Original Photograph 20" X 16" Of Judy Garland, Standing Holding And Reading A Book, Smiling, While Walter Slezak, On Her Right, Holds A Pig (Also An Actor) Whose Hoof Marks Her Place In The Book. Photograph With Small White "S" At Lower Right Corner, No Other Marks. Pigs Can't Fly But Apparently They Can Enjoy A Good Book Now And Then.

The photograph includes a boy and young man standing in the doorway on the left and a boy standing in the archway of the gate. Shows two shops through the gateway. The photographer, Francis Bedford (1815-1894), initially followed his father into architecture, but by the early 1850s he had become a photographer. No date of publication, but Bedford is known to have taken other photographs in Canterbury in 1855. In Near Fine Condition: slight discoloration of mount; otherwise, clean and bright.

This excellent souvenir photo album depicts the golf tourney hosted by the Youngstown Country Club in honor of Campbell’s (1854-1933) 72nd birthday in 1926. The opening photo depicts all the participants and dignitaries at the Country Club, followed by images of players on the greens. The 18-hole course was built on the 131-acre Holland Farm, and designed by Walter Travis, featuring a $ 60,000 Clubhouse, which was noted for elegance and model comfort. Matted and framed, 19 x 17 inches, in fine condition. Provenance: From the estate of Addie Wyatt, who appears in an Associated Press photograph by Nam Huh with the print.

The Reverends Addie and Claude Wyatt, Jr. were fixtures of the American Civil Rights movement through the second half of the 20th century.
Addie began her career working with the Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Butcher Workmen of North America in Chicago in 1941. Together they founded Chicago’s Vernon Park Church of God in 1956, and for the next twelve years were closely associated with Dr. Martin Luther King’s peace movement, joining him at the March on Washington in 1963, the Selma to Montgomery Marches in 1965, and the Chicago demonstration in 1966.

Hand-tinted Albumen print. 8" x 10" . Very good condition.Titled in the negative. Depicts 5 seated craftsmen engaging in metalwork. The Noboru Nogawa manufacturer was founded in 1825 and created and distributed fine metalwork objects from their shop as well as showrooms in the Kyoto and Miyako Hotels.
