It has been more than forty years since the last compilation of the cemetery records of McIntosh County was issued. The Cemetery Records of McIntosh County, Georgia, compiled in 1958 by Mrs. Evie White, unfortunately has proved to be only of marginal use as a reference for genealogists and other researches, as it does not include all of the white cemeteries of the county, nor does it include any of the African-American cemeteries. With the completion of the present study, compiled and published under the auspices of the Lower Altamaha Historical Society, McIntosh County now has its most comprehensive collection of cemetery records to date. Book is in Very Good condition but the leather cover is fragile/Fair. All around gilt, spine is very worn and the hinges are cracked with the covers almost detached. 771 pages plus transportation. Also includes portraits and biographies of all the presidents of the U.S. and Governors of the State. A very large book, additional shipping outside the continental U.S.A.

Homeland, Georgia: Self Published, 2006. Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good +. VG+/VG+/ Pre Published. This is a copy of a book in progress, Mr. Crews was planning to publish a book later. Unfortunately he died at 83 years old in 2012. The large paperback with a spiral binding, introduces the beginning of the 1906 Colony Company and Homeland Georgia. Many of the early residents went on to become the leading citizens of Homeland. Also churches, city council members, business owners, local families. There are some illustrations, and quite a few photos. A very important addition to the local history of Homeland, located in Charlton County Georgia. I could find no other copy offered, even the local library. Clean inside and out, obviously handled, but with care, and is now in a acid free document bag.

Interior of text is tight, clean and Intact except for the brittle endpapers: front sheet is detached. The text is bright white without browning. A scarce genealogical tree of the families of Stonewall Jackson and of his two wives, Elinor Junkin and Mary Anna Morrison of North Carolina.
