San Fransisco, Habenicht Press, 2003, staple-bound softcover, 12 pp, Limited Edition of 500 copies, First Printing stated, Signed by the Author on the half-title page, Fine condition. Straight, tight, clean and unread with no wear or markings. The result of a writing assignment given by Di Prima to her class, in which she also participated, exploring her relationship to poetry and creativity during that time.

The book was my father's personal copy. The DJ has no clips but a little missing and moisture damage. The cover was taped and has moisture problems but the inside pages are in fine condition in comparison to others. Cover states Printed in U.S.A. Book states "Published in Canada by the Macmillin Company of Canada Limited." Library of Congress Catalogue Number 57-9425. Please see the photos. Second Printing of the First Edition. New York: Grove Press, 1959. First edition, hardcover. Octavo, original gray cloth. Book is VG, with only some rubbing on spine, otherwise would perhaps be near-fine, with sharp corners on the boards. Pages are bright, clean, and unmarked, with no significant yellowing. DJ is Fair, with some fading to the spine area, a tear in the upper-left-front that affects the top of the 'O' in "Doctor," a tear at the bottom of the spine, some rubbing, and some water-staining that is only visible on the inside of the DJ.

Ace, New York, 1953. First edition. Condition: Very good plus; book has slight edge wear and creasing along spine, slight darkening on interior pages. Ace Double Books D-15.Burroughs' classic "confessions of an unredeemed drug addict". His first published book. A very nice copy of this famous example of "write what you know".

A very nice copy, the book is close to Near Fine, with a bit of darkening to the gilding of the spine. Slight foxing on text block. Jacket has a bit of wear at the spine ends and along the joint between the spine and the front panel, especially at the top. One of only 3500 copies of the first printing. NF / NF overall and jacket now with a protective removable acetate cover. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
