Joyce, James. Exiles: A Play in Three Acts Including Hitherto Unpublished notes by the Author. New York: Viking Press, 1951. First Printing of the First Viking Edition . This edition was limited to 1900 copies for public sale. A Near Fine copy in a Very Good plus clipped dust jacket with a small chip near the top edge of the spine and a small water spot at the front fold of the jacket flap, else a very collectible copy. Slocum A-16. The author notes included in this edition of Exiles were uncovered after Joyce's death and appear here for the first time. "Exiles" draws on the story of "The Dead", the final short story in Joyce's story collection Dubliners.
