Accounting & Finance Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for managing Biblio's core accounting and finance operations. Prepares financial reports and projections to gauge company performance relative to goals. Assists in formulating and assessing business strategies based on financial data and trends. Implements reporting tools and procedures to minimize financial risk.

Essential Functions

  • Manage and account for marketplace payments to sellers and credit card and Paypal receipts from customers
  • Monthly bank, credit card, and Paypal account reconciliations for USD and multiple FX accounts
  • Invoicing and collection of purchase order accounts
  • Invoicing and collection of bookseller association and other contract accounts
  • Sales tax collection, reporting and remittance in US states and EU, UK, AU, NZ
  • Accounts payable for core vendors
  • 1099k reporting for sellers including collection of W9/W8's and annual filing of 1099k's
  • Manage payroll and payroll benefits

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assists support staff with refund and seller payment questions/procedures.
  • Assists other departments with reports to assess operational performance of ongoing projects
  • Provides analysis about the financial impact of proposed projects or operational changes

Digital Marketing Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to assist in the planning, execution and optimization of our online marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision, but also a team player with natural leadership skills. Must be comfortable in working closely with a small group in a fast-paced environment, and adept at multi-tasking. Must be adept at anticipating market changes and opportunities and able to implement high-quality strategies quickly and cost-effectively. A commitment to the highest ethical standards is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and implements strategies to grow profit and marketshare across products
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key industry partners and media
  • Thoroughly documents all projects, initiatives and contacts
  • Responsible for aiding in product design, advertising and brand-related design
  • Supervises marketing staff
  • Works within and contributes to the overall strategic and tactical direction of the company
  • Assists with other projects or duties as requested.
  • Assists other departments as needed.

Skills

  • Minimum seven (7) years experience in marketing, with at least five (5) years focused primarily on internet retail marketing.
